2025 Results

Recently, the focus has been on finishing the 2025 season with some highs, competing in the final European Cup races, and British Super Series events.

🥇 - European Junior Cup Birzebbuga

Travelling to Malta for my final race in Europe for the year and my final race as a junior, taking home the gold feels like a culmination of all my hard work and dedication over the past 5 years. I was strong in the race from start to finish, coming out the water second, pushing the pace on the bike which consisted of five hilly and technical laps. I came onto the run first and didn't look back from there, the last few kilometres the Mediterranean heat was getting to me but I held on to win by 12 seconds.

14th - Supertri Jersey

Waking up expecting to spectate (on my birthday no less), with a fun beer mile planned before the pros raced. I was approached by a team manager at this point, less than 2 hours before the gun went off. I sped home (literally) with my manager and got all my kit. Warmed up and before I knew it the gun was off. I had a strong swim coming out first from my team. After that my recent training and lack of taper caught up to me, not having strong legs for the bike and run but fighting till I had no more in me to gain 2 points for the Brownlee Racing team.

🥇 - British Super Series Overall

Won the British Superseries, for the second time. I placed 4th in 2022, 1st in 2023, 3rd in 2024 and now to win it again shows my consistency to perform in the domestic circuit.

The competition was the best 4 results scored up, I had a 1st,2nd and 5th x 2

Eton Eliminator was the toughest Superseries I have competed in to date. In the week leading up to this race I took part in an England Next Generation training camp at Loughborough Triathlon Performance Centre. This was an intense week of training so I was unsure how the race would go.

The race format was 4 rounds where more people got eliminated each round until the final where the finishing positions were decided. I made it through comfortably in each round into the A Final where my aim was a top 8 so I hit criteria for European Cup Senior races. After the 350m swim we got into a breakaway with 6/7 people and pushed the 5k bike to build a gap to the chase pack. I transitioned well and got onto the run first, however my legs were feeling the days and weeks effort and I was feeling a twinge of cramp. This meant I dropped back to 5th by the turnaround, however my legs were getting used to running and the cramp had passed. I closed strong getting back into fourth overall (and first junior). This is my best senior result to date!

My race in Tabor was my best all round performance of my life. I exited the swim 3rd and got onto the bike first after having the fastest T1. I got in a two man breakaway with Jelle Kaindl from Austria where we worked well, going through and off the whole was on the 20km hilly bike course. I got onto the run first and held it comfortably until the end. Taking my first European Junior Cup win was a great experience, and the Czech Republic was a great country to race in.

3:51 - Bracknell 1500m

After a disappointing race in Mallory, 3 days later I travelled back to the UK for my first BMC track race. I came in with a PB of 3:58 and my hope was to get near 3:54. I started off conservative, settling into fourth. I was finding the pace comfortable however knew I needed to sit in and conserve energy for the later stages. With 500m to go I made my move, down the home stretch taking the bell in the lead. At this point I didn't look back, I put my head down and sprinted the last 400, expecting to be passed at any point. As it turns out I had gapped the field, eventually winning by 3 seconds, closing with a 60 second last lap.

This race showcased the hard work I have put in to improve my run speed over the last season alongside my coach Lee. It also made up for the disappointing result in Mallory showing me I do have the ability to compete on the run.

🥇 - Junior European Cup Tabor
🥈 - British Super Series Llanelli

After missing the first domestic race of the year, Llanelli was my first UK race of the year. Me and my manager drove up through England into Wales, following the speed limits vigilantly.

In the race I swam okay, missing the breakaway group of 6/7 which was down to 5 after they pushed the pace and some got dropped. I found myself in a large chase group, positioning myself near the front so I wouldn't have to work to get back on round the dead turns. I came onto the run first from my group so 6th overall and first junior. A few came past me then I found my rhythm and settled into 10th place overall where I ultimately finished making me 2nd junior. A nice way to bounce back after a disappointing start to the season with illness in Quarteira.
